CCleaner 3.27 by Piriform is a free simple to use, and feature rich disk cleanup which does a great job at cleaning up junk files, history, and temporary files from Windows and Third-party programs.
I have been using CCleaner for a few months on Windows 8, and it runs great when cleaning my disk drive of temporary, and un-needed junk files which Windows does not need to run, and usually comtain no useful data. CCleaner is also easy to use for optimizing Windows to remove un-needed registry keys, disable startup programs and schedule tasks, turn-off web browser add-ons, and remove old system restores to make Windows use less disk space and run faster when I use it. I have experience no problems using CCleaner on Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP.
CCleaner only takes a few minutes to seconds to do a disk cleanup in Windows, and a few seconds to do a registry cleanup to make the size of your registry smaller, and backup keys before the cleanup begins, so you can easily restores the keys if you need to.

Advance System Care Pro 6.1 is my favorite all-in-one system utility program for maintaining and fixing my Windows 8 desktop. Advance System Care Pro also runs fast on my older computer with a 1.86GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 320 GB hard drive. It also automatically fixes and cleans my computer of junk files when my PC is idle, so my computer does not slow down when I use it. I find Advance System Care the best all-in-one automatic system utility I used on Windows 8 so far which does not slow down Windows since it only uses about 5 MB of RAM, and 0% CPU when idle running in the background. It is also very easy to use with its one click scanner and repair programs for keeping Windows 8 well maintained.
Even if I just install it in Windows, and don’t use ASC manually, ASC will still delete temporary internet files, junk files, cleans the registry of junk registry keys, remove viruses, protect my privacy, protect my computer from unsafe websites, fixes shortcut files, and check for updates for Advance System Care to keep my computer feeling fast and new.
Advance System Care also reminds me to do a deep scan and repair my computer to fix problems related to virsus, spyware, and malware infections, disk fragmentation, disk cleanup , disk errors, privacy issues, registry problems like junk registry files, and registry fragmentation, slow computer and internet speeds, shortcut fixes, and Windows Vulnerabilities. Wise Disk Cleaner is a free disk cleanup, and disk defrag program which works on Windows 8, 7, Vista, and other Windows operating systems.
Doing disk cleanups in Windows is good for freeing up storage space on your hard drives, or solid state drives which are a lot faster, but usually have less available free space than a hard drive which is similarly priced. By doing disk cleanups, and disk defrags, you free up free space by removing junk files like temporary internet files while making your hard drive performance better by defragging it.
I have been using Wise Disk Cleanup on Windows 8 for a few months, and it works great at cleaning up temporary internet files, junk files, cookies, cache files, my internet history, and other files which take up space on Windows 8, but I don’t need for Windows to run, or to look at. Wise Disk Cleaner is fully compatible in Windows 8, and will run in the desktop mode in Windows 8. It is also one of the fastest and easiest to use disk cleanup and defrag programs I used in Windows.
