Install FileZilla FTP Client with Ubuntu 10.10 Software Center Video

FileZilla is a free open source FTP client which you can use in Ubuntu 10.1o for backing up, or uploading your website files to and from your web server/web hosting account. It is very easy to use and reliable. Filezilla works with FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).

I been using it for many years for uploading and backing up my files on my web server for JohnsonYip.com and other websites I own.

1. Start Ubuntu Software Center by going to Applications menu on the top toolbar, and clicking on the Ubuntu Software Center heading.

2. Search for Filezilla on the top right search box on Ubuntu Software Center.

3. Click the Install button on the Filezilla search result, and type in your administrative password.

4. When FileZilla is finish installing, you can start FileZilla by going to the Applications then Internet Sub menu on the top menu toolbar.
