I have been using Windows 8 Pro 32Bit  as my desktop computer operating system for almost 2 weeks, and  my experience have been pretty good on a non-touch screen monitor, and keyboard and mouse HPa1720n computer desktop which originally came with Windows Vista Home Premium. All Windows software like MS Office 2007, Google Chrome, Gom player, etc which I use on Windows 7 work on Windows 8, and they seem to start up a few seconds faster.

I also notice my startup, shutdown, sleep, wake from sleep, and restart times are also faster in Windows 8 Pro then Windows 7 home premium on my older computer with a Dual-Core 1.86 GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, onboard video, and 320GB of hard drive. There is also less freezing when shutting down, and restarting my computer.

Web browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer 10, and Google Chrome, and other programs also seem to crash less, and seem more responsive when loading pages and scrolling through web sites. I can also now watch HD video on YouTube without any slowdown problems when I have a few tabs or windows open in my web brower, or other programs like MS Word open.

Windows Defender which is the built-in Antivirus also is easy to use, and does not slow down my PC when it is running in the background protecting my PC or doing quick scans.

Windows Update is also easy to use, and automatically update my computer to the latest updates for Windows and Windows/Microsoft software like Internet Explorer 10, Office, etc.

The Windows Store app is also pretty nice since it makes it easy for finding apps like games to install in Windows 8.

It is important to have a mobile theme installed on a website because viewing desktop websites on a phone, or tablet can be hard to read because of smaller text, and long horizontal page width which make reading difficult in portrait mode. Plus, users from phones and tablets are more likely to stay longer on my blog if they are having a good reading experience by reading on a website with a mobile template which is easy to read on smaller touchscreen devices like an iPhone.

WP Touch Pro is installed on this blog to make my blog easy to read on mobile phones, and tablets running Google Andriod, iPhone, and other mobile operating systems.

WP Touch Pro is easy to install, and customize within the WordPress Dashboard.  I can very easily add a header image, change the colors, fonts, and icons on WP Touch Pro very easily by filling in forms, and using drop down menus within the WP Touch Pro plug-in in the WordPress Dashboard.

In Wp Touch Pro, it is also easy to change the background, add ads, or links to the header and footer of the theme.

There is also an app mode for iOS devices for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch to read my blog in an app mode.

WP Touch Pro theme looks good, and loads very fast on my Google Android Tablet connected to my home Wi-Fi.

I like that the design of WP Touch Pro looks like an App, and is optimized for Mobile screens like the iPhone, Google Android, etc.

It also easy to install and update to the latest version by using the WordPress Dashboard instead of using FTP programs.

If you want to view my WP Touch Pro Theme, view my website on a mobile device like iPhone or Android device.

It is also possible to switch back to the desktop site by clicking a link at the bottom of the template if your vistors prefer the desktop site over my mobile site.

WPTouchPro will also save both you and your mobile visitors bandwidth, so your website will load faster, and your visitors will use less of their data cap when visiting your site if you use WP Touch Pro on your WordPress site.

Your website will use less web server resources like CPU, RAM, and Disk space when people visit your site on a Mobile device like iPhone, iPad, Google Android, and Windows phone device, and your visitors will save time by having a mobile optimize site load on their mobile which loads fast, and can be easily read on most smartphones, and tablets.

I used Windows 8 32bit since October 27, and it is pretty good for a newer Windows operating system.

All my computer hardware like Printer, USB TV Tuner, video, sound, USB drives, mic, and DVD drive work in Windows 8 like Windows 7.

One of my main reasons for installing Windows 8 on my older computer because it has low system requirements like a 1 GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of hard drive space, and  a DirectX9 video card, and I read reviews and comments online that said it uses less RAM then Windows 7, so I can continue using my slower computer parts, but experience better performance in Windows 8.

I installed Windows 8 on an older computer with a 1.86 GHz Dual core CPU, 1GB of RAM, onboard intel video, non-touchscreen LCD monitor,  and 320GB hard drive.

Windows 8 runs better then Windows 7 for me since Windows 8 uses less RAM better then 7.

I can now watch HD YouTube videos without slow video playback in a web browser compared to Windows 7 which sometimes tend to slow down my computer when I watch YouTube videos, and have too many tabs, or programs open. Regular video files like video I recorded with my USB TV Tuner or digital camcorder also open pretty fast on GOM player, and Windows Movie Player without slow down when loading the video for the first few seconds which sometimes happen in GOM player in 7, but does not slow down when loading video for the first few seconds in GOM player in 8.

I was also able to install all my software like MS Office 2007, Google Chrome, FileZilla, CDBurnerXP, and more I installed on 8 without any problems.

Big programs like MS Office Word 2007 also load slightly quicker compared to 7.

The new Market App store in Windows 8 is also useful for looking for apps, games and programs to use on Windows 8.
