Picture are great for websites
A picture can say a million words. It lets users know what your blog post is about without reading the post. Plus, search engines like google, yahoo, etc index your pictures to their image search engines. For example, if you search “Johnson Yip” , you might find a few of my images on Google image search. Try to give your picture file name a descriptive name, and ALT text, so search engine spiders and visually impair people know what the picture is about.

Word Press Plugins
There are many plugins that aspiring Word Press Bloggers can install on their website. Some Plugins are great, but others are not so great. There are plugins to stop spammers, adding meta tags to a blog post, and the main page, checking for broken links, enabling google analytics tracking, making a sitemap, social bookmarking, and a lot more. But, there are also a lot of plugins that the average user does not need or want.
Learn how to install a Word Press Plugin if you don’t know how to.
My list of recommended Plugins which I have installed on this blog.

Windows Startup Faster
If you find your PC takes a long time to start up after shutting down or restarting your PC, you might want to consider using Hibernate mode instead of Shut down. All hibernate does is save your files on your RAM to the hibernate file on your hard drive before shutdown. When your computer is turned back on, your computer is restored to the previous state it was at before Hibernation by loading the files from the hibernate file on your hard drive back to your RAM. Hibernation uses no power. It uses the same amount of power as a PC that is OFF. You press the PC on button to resume from hibernation.
Sleep mode is when your entire computer is off except for your RAM, Keyboard, and mouse. It is fastest at turning your computer back on. All you have to do is hit a key on your keyboard or move your mouse to turn your PC on. It uses some power to keep a few parts powered up in your PC.
Read my tutorial on Sleep and Hibernate mode. Plus, learn more tips for a faster PC start up!
