Ubuntu Software Center has a program you can use to install a firewall configuration program which lets you turn on or off the firewall from an easy to use application instead of using the terminal command prompt. The Firewall configuration program also lets you add a firewall rule to add or deny a program from accessing the internet or your network.
Are you afraid someone might hack your website from the login form, well you can password protect your administrator folder for WordPress, Joomla,  phpBB2, and PHPBB3 forum. All you need to do is login to your web hosting administrative control panel and give the administrator folder a username and password in the protected directories section of your Cpanel. If you need help, contact your hosting tech support. It may not be available for free hosting accounts, but most decent paid hosting plans offer protected directories/folders.
I recommend giving your administrator folder a unique username like “mrtisawesome” and a strong password like “@ds@reC0OL12″ .
I found a plug-in which make links by commenter’s Dofollow instead of Nofollow which is the default link type for WordPress. All you need is to upload the dofollow plugin from SemioLogic.com and activate it in WordPress Plugin Control Panel.
By making your links DoFollow instead of NoFollow, your commenters will also get more link juice. Some of your visitors will also be more likely to comment since they will get more dofollow back links to their website which increases their Search rankings in Google and other search engines. DoFollow is great for Search Engine Optimization.
Update: I decided to make this blog NoFollow again since I don’t have the time to moderate spammy comments and comments which are poor quality like people who post “thx” which I tend to be getting after I change this blog to DoFollow.
