All you need to do is create an account and drag the bookmarklet to your browser’s bookmark bar.

Web content is generally littered with a whole lot of distractions like advertisements and pop ups, all of which can be removed with this app. Like all other news reading tools, this one also has an option for reading material in the offline mode.

    Nice list – I like Readability for its ‘send to kindle’ feature and it’s good at stripping out ads and graphics on webpages. It does have a standard free version though, you only have to subscribe if wanting to stream a lot of articles.

    Spool is well worth a look too – like Instapaper but free.
