Using Amazon Associates for free pictures for your blog while earning money

I found an Easy way to get Pictures for your blog post for Free, and all you need to be is an Amazon Associate Affiliate Member. Not only are the pictures good quality, but you get paid a small commission if your product picture link generates a sale. The commission varies from 4% or more as your sales conversion rates go up for your blog or website.

Although, you need to modify your image link and save the image to your own web hosting server. Plus, link the image back to the affiliate link Amazon gives you to advertise the product on your image in order to get commission and cite the source for the image. If you are running out of space on your web server. You can also use free image hosts like Tinypic, photobucket, or Imageshack, etc.

Example of the image code for Amazon.

<a href=”http://Amazon porduct page”><img src=”http://link to your image”></a>

<a href=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JCSV5I?ie=UTF8&tag=johsgamsto-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B002JCSV5I”><img src=”http://johnsonyip.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/517+bpHK4HL._SL160_.jpg”></a>

If you use Blogspot, you can set up your Blogspot account to be connected to your Amazon Associates Account, so you can search for images directly from Bloggers posting editor while you post. You can skip the image link and uploading your picture to your web server step since Blogger and Amazon Associates Module on the post editor in Blogger takes care of all the technical aspect. All you have to do is search for the product on Amazon Blogger post module, and position your image with the editor in blogger for post.

You can also use the Amazon Associate Blogspot code from the side bar widget in the post editor for blogspot, so you do not have to upload the image you save from Amazon to your webserver since the blogger Amazon codes also work in WordPress in the HTML code view, but the Visual editor tends to break the code in my experience.

You can get the Amazon code in the HTML view of the blogspot code post editor.

Using Amazon Associates for your website images is worth the time and effort since you would not need to go on random websites on the internet to find a suitable picture for your blog post or take the picture yourself by investing in a good digital Camera since most Cell phone  and very cheap cameras are bad when it comes to taking photos. Plus, you can earn some money from commissions if someone clicks your Amazon product image link and they buy something from Amazon.

You have to first sign up for an Amazon Associate Account at affiliate-program.amazon.com .

I believe in order to be a good Affiliate marketer, you need to really know the product and tell people”how the product will help them do a very specific task.”

It is better to pick niches that are small and do not have a lot of competition, but have an audience. For example, if you are trying to promote and sell books on dating, there will be a lot of competition since the topic is so big.

However, if you were to market books on dating Asian women, the competition won’t be as big, and you have an easier time finding visitors to your website with Affiliate links for Asian Dating books and services/websites. You probably gain more leads and sales.

Once you found your small niche which has some demand, you need to focus on writing quality unique articles on your website or other websites like Article directories where you can add 2-3 links in your article’s resource box or body to link back to your blog, website or sales page. This gives you a reputation of being knowledgeable in your field, so people are more likely to visit your websites, and buy your products or products you are promoting. Plus, having a lot of link backs to your sites from quality article sites and websites will increase your search listing rankings on Google, Yahoo, Bing, and Ask.

People are more likely to buy products from people who are knowledgeable on their websites topic.
