Norton Safeweb is a free toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox which allows users to find out if a website contains malware, viruses, spyware, and other dangerous files which can steal your personal information or crash your computer. You do not need to own Symantec or Norton Antivirus to install and use it. I’m using Immunet Protect 2.0 with Norton Safeweb, and it works great.

I have been using Sun Belt Software Clear Cloud DNS for a few days as my Internet’s DNS server. A DNS server is like a phone book when you type in Google.com the DNS address translate the domain name into an IP address which consist of numbers and periods like 192.168.1.1 for your web browser to use to go to a specific website.

I been using ClamWin for a few days, and it is a nice Antivirus scanner. It found 2 viruses in my E-mail folder which all my anti-malware, antispyware, and antivirus I tried did not find. ClamWin only uses about 23MB of RAM during a scan in Windows 7. ClamWin virus scan do not slow down windows. I can set virus scans to scan my computer at a specific time, or manually scan my memory and drives from the main windows.
