About Myself

I graduated from Vancouver Community College’s Information Technology Specialist certificate program where I learned about computer repair, maintenance, Office Suites, Web design, Visual Basic.NET, MS Access 2007 database, programming, Networking, the Internet, virtualization, ecommerce, content management system, computer troubleshooting, and technical support.

I became Comptia A+ certified on the 2006 objectives on Oct. 2009.

I am interested on learning more about Virtualization, cloud computing, mobile computing, social networking, mobile apps, and online programs and services because I feel these topics would be the future of computing for most people when high speed internet is available to most people all over the world.

About Blog

I made this free computer help blog for meeting and helping Windows and Linux computer users learn new computer skills like computer security skills to improve users computer’s security by using an anti-virus and firewall. There are also posts about PC hardware repair and using software to improve the user experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux OSes like Ubuntu.

Readers can also learn how to install and make a website by reading my Content Management System tutorials on Joomla, Drupal, wordpress, and phpBB, so they can share their hobies like “golfing for beginners” with people online.

The main purpose of this blog will be to teach average to above average home computer user on how to more effectively use their computer for daily tasks like surfing the web, gaming, word processing, updating their website, and chatting with friends while keeping their computer in optimal condition (Virus free and free of random shut downs or restarts because of buggy software or failing PC hardware).

If you “qoute/copy and paste” any of my posts on another site, please link back to my site.

Donations are greatly appreciated and go toward paying for web hosting, domain registration bills, and additional expenses like a better template.

This blog is mostly self-funded by myself, but Ads, Affiliate ads, and donations help me recoup some of my money I spend on domain registration, web hosting, and additional website related expenses.

It’s great to hear you want to help people out of their computer problems. Well, computer problems can be very frustrating and can break a day.

If there is a tech support, then uglier “things” because of recurring computer problem will not happen.
