Ubuntu 9.10 is 2 days away from getting released. I tried the alpha version. It features an improved software centre program which makes installing and removing unwanted software a lot quicker and easier compared to Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope. The other improvements I notice are faster start ups, and shutdowns. The User interface also looks a lot cleaner with nicer looker icons, and preinstalled Backgrounds.
