It is popular because it is easy to update a blog, it is simple to use, and I can log in anywhere and update my blog without the need for an FTP program. Plus, blogs are fun to update, and share with people.
But, I feel that blogiing is kind of hard since the blogger have to think of new and interesting topics to blog about.
